Ullery Furniture Co announces a full Christmas line ready for inspection at the showroom. The feature highlights holiday selections and new furniture styles for the season.
Washington reports the Postmaster General dismissed Frank H. Cunningham of South Omaha a rural carrier and president of the National Association of Rural Carriers for insubordination and ignoring a January 31 1902 order. James C Keller head of the National Association of Letter Carriers was also dismissed. Separately the House considers impeaching Federal Judge Charles Swayne of the northern district of Florida for alleged absence from court. The Senate approved a Christmas holiday recess from Dec 21 to Jan 4.
Big crowd expected for Friday at two o clock as the Military Institute team meets Company B on the Military grounds. Admission is 25 cents.
Letters were sent inviting Roswell business leaders to a Friday night gathering in the Club rooms. The meeting will discuss matters of vital importance to Roswell’s future growth and development and attendees are urged to attend and share counsel.

In Boston on December 13 the wool market shows less activity due to lower supplies, yet prices remain firm. It is estimated that 35 percent of next year's Territory wool crop has already been contracted.
W R Slinkard returned from Kansas City with John Divers after purchasing stock and material for the Hondo site. He spent the day dispatching supplies for the new reservoir works including a commissary, blacksmith shops, stables, and sleeping quarters.

In Brussels on December 13 the Etoile Belge reports that Dr. Le roy S. Chadwick’s wife left sizable debts in Brussels. The notes total about $30,000 owed to a jeweler and a lace merchant. Mrs Chadwick lived expensively in Brussels.

Three cars carried Tallmadge excursionists through Roswell on the morning train from the south. The train halted about two hours. Reports say 3 000 acres of land were sold to these homeseekers during the trip.
