Flood damage in Roswell city structures exceeds $50 million

Finance Committee heard that flood related losses to Roswell city properties have surpassed $50 million and will rise as evaluations continue. Insurance covers about $10 million of damage across nearly 40 sites with total insured value near $94.7 million. Key structures include Roswell Civic and Convention Center and Roswell Museum valued together at $25.1 million, plus Roswell Adult Center and Roswell Parks Office. The flooding followed the Oct 19 20 storm that dropped almost six inches of rain at Roswell Air Center.
