One dead in Lea County car crash on SR 18
New Mexico State Police report a 42 year old Hobbs man died after losing control of his northbound vehicle on State Road 18 at mile marker 46. The driver and three passengers were not wearing seat belts. An adult passenger Priscilla Herrera, 38, and two infants sustained minor injuries and were treated at Lea Regional Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
