Allie Dorris Found Frozen to Death Near Roswell
Allie Dorris aged 19, son of Mr and Mrs W S Dorris formerly of this city now of Carlsbad, was found frozen to death in the Bar V country 70 miles northwest of Roswell. Will Tolbert of the V ranch reported the death after arriving in town at eleven. The father started to Roswell to bring the body for burial. Funds are being raised for the widow of Jose L Baca the herder who also froze to death.
