Stolen Grips Lead to Arrest in Amarillo Theft
A man named Wilson, claiming varied origins, was arrested for stealing two grips from Mrs. Effie Moore and Mabel Linenbaugh of Amarillo. He tried to sell a grip at Free Coinage saloon. the items were found hidden behind a store. Wilson faces a Monday morning hearing before Judge Bailey. The incident followed their arrival for a visit with Mrs. A. P. Stapp after theft at the railroad station Thursday night.
