Biel Resigns As Supt of Insurance in New Mexico
Santa Fe August 24 George M Biel resigns as New Mexico superintendent of insurance after four and a half years to return to private business. Termination effective September 5, Rarph F Apodaca of Las Cruces to succeed him. Apodaca left Dona Ana County commissioner post. Biel to Albuquerque to work in private business. The salary is 3000 annually but cut to 2700 this year. Valdez notes the commission regrets the resignation and praises Biel as a capable supervisor.
