Suspected burglar held after early Tuesday break in
A man identified as 42 year old Shawn Wiltsey was arrested at 11 41 a m near a 900 block of West Second Street after a husband and wife were held captive and the wife allegedly faced an attempted rape. Wiltsey is jailed at Chaves County Detention Center on multiple counts including kidnapping aggravated assault with a deadly weapon attempted criminal sexual penetration and related charges along with possession of methamphetamine. He allegedly fainted during arrest.
