Goddard High School freshmen Cristian Vega Solis and Slaidon Housewright became the first RISD students to attend SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta June 24 to 28. The pair, now sophomores, completed multiple cybersecurity tasks over three days and ranked 22nd nationally.

Suspect charged in shooting of assisted living home
