Visitors tour Little House site in De Smet South Dakota
Margaret Knowles and Karen Erickson are among devoted fans visiting De Smet home to Laura Ingalls Wilder sites. About 20,000 tour two houses yearly, with another 10,000 visiting non tour sites. The town hosts a July pageant and Laura's Living Prairie offers hands on activities for families learning frontier life.
