Large ICE raids target Nebraska Minnesota employers
Federal agents led a wide operation targeting about a dozen businesses and 17 owners for fraud and mistreatment of workers in Nebraska and Minnesota. About 133 workers were arrested or questioned, with 14 owners in custody and three sought. The raids, centered in O Neill and nearby towns, involved 350 to 400 officers and focused on exploiting workers via forged identities and coerced wage practices. Civil rights groups denounced the action as disruptive and fear-inducing for immigrant communities.
