Chaves County Commission on Tuesday approved refinancing the 3 million Eastern New Mexico Medical Center debt through Stillwell and Co of Albuquerque. Tail end savings total 242 523 with potential annual interest gains of 25 000 to 27 000. The deal faced competition from Stern Brothers and Co which offered 289 000 in savings but failed to meet specifications.
