Roswell OKs outdoor smoking for private clubs
Roswell City Council narrowly approves an ordinance relaxing the Smoke Free Air Act of 2004 enabling private clubs including The Liberty Roswell Country Club Elks and Eagles lodges Veterans of Foreign Wars and Sertoma to offer outdoor smoking areas up to four days a month. Supporters cite parity with other cities while public health advocates warn of expanded exposure. The Liberty leader Josh Ragsdale says cigars only and non designated nights barred.
