U.S. pentathlon duo earns Youth Olympic Games spots

Schrimscher and Olesinski qualified for Singapore representing the United States in the Youth Olympic Games modern pentathlon. Schrimscher earned his berth in Buenos Aires after a third place at the South American qualifiers, while Olesinski qualified in Sweden and earned selection soon after. The pair train with Nathan and Lucas Schrimscher and will compete in four pentathlon disciplines at the Youth Games.

Fx competition schedule announced for Singapore games

The event runs in the Singapore Sports School area with opening ceremonies on August 13 and closing on August 25. Girls final is set for August 20 at 9 a.m. in the northwest region, followed by the boys final on August 21 at 9 a.m. in Singapore.
