Wreck of Golden State Limited Injures Four

Meager reports from Los Angeles say four persons are seriously hurt after the west bound Golden State Limited derailed near Hale Arizona forty miles east of Benson on the Southern Pacific line used by Rock Island trains to the coast. Passengers were in berths when the train left the track as two sleepers and the observation car overturned and a diner left the track. The wreck was caused by a broken rail. The injured were in the overturned sleepers.
