Gospel legend Delois Barrett Campbell dies at 85 in Chicago
Delois Barrett Campbell, oldest of the Barrett Sisters, died Tuesday at a Chicago hospital at age 85 after a career shaping gospel music. Survived by sisters Rodessa Barrett Porter and Billie Barrett Greenley, she inspired generations with recordings and performances across the United States and Europe. Funeral arrangements were pending.
