Kentucky pipeline blast leaves 1 dead in Lincoln County
A 30 inch Texas Eastern Transmission gas line ruptured near Junction City Kentucky causing a massive explosion that killed Lisa Derringer 58 of Stanford and injured five others. The blast destroyed homes and railroad tracks and prompted evacuation of about 75 residents from Indian Camp trailer park while investigators assess the cause and response. Enbridge flagges the rupture on the Lincoln County site and NTSB assigns investigators.
