Local Roswell students reflect on city internships
Roswell city announced summer internships at City Hall with two local students selected for paid roles in finance and engineering. Maude Hudson, 21, and Tre Acevedo, 18, describe it as a learning door opening experience and a first internship. Acevedo worked 8 to 5, Monday through Friday, assisting finance with budget tasks while Hudson logged similar hours three days a week in engineering. Acevedo is a Roswell High School graduate entering Eastern New Mexico University, while Hudson is completing mechanical engineering at New Mexico Tech.
