Roswell Mourns Rod Rodriguez 75 Longtime Local Figure
Rod Rodriguez of Roswell died at home July 30 2016 after a six year cancer battle. He leaves a large family including wife Margaret daughters Maria Julia Thomas and Alicia with spouses Kelly McCullough Nick Conger and additional relatives. Rod served in the Army, worked for Boeing and Lockheed, earned degrees at NM State and University of Nebraska, and supported community groups, church and the NM Army National Guard. Visitation August 2 3, Rosary August 3 and Mass August 4 at St Peter Church with military honors. Memorials to Poor Clare Monastery or charity of choice.
