Roswell Mayor Signals Interest in More Police Officers
Roswell Mayor Dennis Kintigh says the city needs more boots on the ground amid ongoing violent crime and cites difficulty filling slots. He recalls a Monday meeting with the city manager and police officials to discuss specific changes, with no public announcement yet. He also notes recruiting and retention efforts as a priority. The question of annexing agricultural land east of town to boost population is being considered.
