Hollywood films still exclude women and minorities

A USC Annenberg study finds 2016 films remained white and male dominated with women and Hispanics underrepresented in speaking roles and leads. Only 4,583 speaking parts analyzed show 31.4 percent female. 70.8 percent white and 13.6 percent black. Despite hits like Moonlight and Wonder Woman, intersectional invisibility persists with few female directors and zero transgender characters.
