Amusement ride crash traps riders at Michigan’s Adventure Park
At Michigan’s Adventure in Dalton Township James Burtchett and his 13 year old son Ryan were among 25 to 30 riders stranded for nearly five hours after the Chaos ride wheel fell to the ground. Dozens were hospitalized with minor injuries and a concussion reported for a 14 year old. Investigators cautioned that the cause remained under study as park officials noted daily inspections.
