AerSale Inc and civic leaders Robert G. Armstrong and Sara Armstrong were honored at ENMU Roswell’s 13th Foundation for the Future Banquet. The Armstron gs received the President's Distinguished Service Award for public service and leadership. AerSale earned the Diamond Service Award for launching a scholarship program in 2013 supporting students in ENMU Roswell’s Aircraft Maintenance Technology program.

Trial date set for 12 year old Mason Campbell
A June 16 trial date is scheduled for Mason Campbell who is charged in the January Berrendo Middle School shooting. Campbell, deemed competent, faces three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and one count of bringing a firearm onto school property. Two students, Nathaniel Tavarez and Kendal Sanders, were wounded. they are recovering. Campbell will be tried as a juvenile under New Mexico law.

Family mobilizes funds after Roswell shooting victim
The family of 22 year old Roswell man Joseph Jojo Sanchez is raising funeral expenses with a memorial account at Pioneer Bank named memorial account Johnny R. Sanchez for Jojo. Friends are raffling VIP Night of Champions 3 tickets to support the family with details from Paul Peyton and Daniel Garcia. The shooting on South Main Street remains under investigation with no arrests reported.
