Anti nuclear rally at Rocky Flats draws thousands protest

Several thousand anti nuclear demonstrators gathered at the Rocky Flats plant in Golden Colorado for the largest protest yet at the facility that makes plutonium components for weapons. Organizers put the crowd at four to six thousand with others arriving from Denver and a Japanese delegation joining in.

Nation begins daylight saving time as clocks move forward

Record-Setting Drug Raid Seizes 574 Tons Marijuana

Colombian agents confiscated 574 tons of marijuana described as the world’s largest haul, with four depots on the Guajira Peninsula and arrests including four U S citizens and nine Colombians.
