Feud Over Gas Station Sparks Fatal Texas Shootout
In Tyler Texas a feud between rival gas stations led to a fatal shooting and five wounded. Jim Bryant surrendered after firing buckshot at a group gathered at H M Ferguson station four miles east. City Schools May Day Fete Scheduled at Roswell High Field
Pupils from Roswell public schools will stage a May Day Fete tomorrow from 10:30 to noon at the high school football field. Rules for special elections to name district advisors under the Taylor grazing act were announced by A P Molohon deputy grazing supervisor for New Mexico and Arizona. Elections will be held in each district before July 1 with one vote per authorized business entity. advisors must be US citizens or have filed for citizenship and must meet elector requirements.
