Relay for Life to Fight Cancer at Cielo Grande

Roswell hosts the American Cancer Society Relay for Life on June 22 at 6 PM with community sponsors Eastern New Mexico Medical Center Plateau Wireless Xcel Energy Andrews Smith and Lowery and the Comfort Inn and Suites. Proceeds support cancer research at UNM Medical Center and educational efforts.

American Cancer Society Details Services in New Mexico

The American Cancer Society offers patient and family support including free cosmetic courses for chemotherapy patients transportation lodging wigs and hats and peer programs. In New Mexico activities include Reach to Recovery visits trips transporting patients and free or reduced lodging with dozens of items provided. Relay for Life at Cielo Grande runs June 22 6 p.m. to June 23.
