Couple charged with receiving and concealing stolen property
Rodrigo C. Burgarin and Mary P. Bugarin were released after appearing in magistrate court on charges of receiving and concealing stolen property over $100. Burgarin bonded at $2,500. Jury rules in favor of Burnworth in Hill death suit
A 5th Judicial District Court jury found Frank Burnworth not liable in the accident suit filed by the late Michael Hill and his administratrix Carolyn Hill. Vehicle recovered after reported theft in Roswell

A violent storm from Zapata to the Gulf of Mexico damaged wide areas with winds up to 78 mph in McAllen.
