Roswell Teen Guilty of Heroin Trafficking Referred on Technicality
A Roswell teenager, Robert Lujan, 17, was found guilty of two counts of heroin trafficking by District Court Judge Paul Snead. The state Appeals Court ordered the judgment returned for a missing statement certifying whether the boy is in need of care and rehabilitation. The two year sentence at the Boys School in Springer stands. Lujan was among 19 arrested in January during a raid following a six month narcotics investigation by state police, Roswell police, and county deputies.
