Surviving climber recalls Mount St Elias tragedy
John Griber, climbing with Aaron Martin and Reid Sanders on Mount St Elias, watched Martin and Sanders fall on a 45 degree ice face. Martin, 32, and Sanders were presumed killed. Griber and Greg Van Doersten survived a perilous helicopter rescue by the National Guard.
