Ruidoso Couple Kidnapped in Barra de Navidad

A Ruidoso New Mexico man James Tarwater and Elizabeth Zwick were held after a man posed as a narcotics agent, robbed them, and forced them into a car in Barra de Navidad Mexico. The abductor drove Zwick to Guadalajara and warned them not to notify authorities while demanding money sent from the United States. The two, employed at a local ski shop, awaited funds to return home with Zwick unharmed after being released.
