Finalists named to redesign National Mall sites
Four finalists for each site including Constitution Gardens and Washington Monument grounds were chosen after 32 teams entered. The Trust for the National Mall aims to raise 350 million dollars with Laura Bush supporting the fundraiser while design ideas feature parks, pavilions, underground spaces and new amenities to open by 2016.
