Roswell leaders consider Flugger Engineering of New Mexico to lease Building 84 at the Roswell Industrial Air Center and sublease to Ice Vendors of America. The plan would create a muffler plant employing up to 110 over seven months and 125 for Ice Vendors, with Safeway Stores buying all produced ice. The council also approves airport finance work, a district mill levy, runway improvements, and permits for a family recreation center, mobile home, and medical clinic.
