Woman Charged With Murder Speaks of Amnesia in Court
Marcel la Reese 41 faces second degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in the stabbing death of 46 year old Charlotte Byrd and injury to 55 year old Nigel Murray. At arraignment Judge K C Rogers advised silence. A pretrial detention hearing followed with Det Basile the sole witness for prosecutors. Public defender Jared Kallunki represented Reese who remains in Chaves County Detention Center.
