Paul and Sybil Ragsdale seek a permit change to stop diverting 16.345 acre feet per year from well RA-9663 and replace with a new well 200 feet deep near Section 30 Township 11 South Range 25 East. The plan diverts irrigation water for 4.67 acres southeast of Roswell near East Grand Plains Chaves County. Objections must be filed within 10 days with the State Engineer in Roswell. protests by fax accepted if countered with a hand-delivered or mailed copy within 24 hours. If no protest is filed, the State Engineer will evaluate the application under Chapter 72 NMSA 1978.
