Fairgrounds repair begins after snow collapse at ENMS Fair
Repairs to the Eastern New Mexico fairgrounds show ring start with about 50 000 for reconstruction plus potential 10 000 for electrical work. Insurance covers much, with 16 000 to 25 000 funded by innovative financing. The 4 H Council and GoFundMe campaigns aim to raise funds as the state fair begins the first week of July. Local contractor Tim George leads the rebuilding as Xcel Energy guides upgrades. 4 H groups expect 290 youth involved.
