Woman accused of murdering husband hangs herself in jail
Laren Sims 36, held in Hernando County jail since March 18, hanged herself in a cell. She had confessed to a scheme with Sarah Dutra to murder Larry McNabney with horse tranquilizer and bury him in a California vineyard.

Roswell man critically injured in Mescalero Sands four wheeler crash
Jerry Stubbs a 37 year old from Roswell was listed in critical condition at Covenant Medical Center Lubbock after being thrown from a 2000 Yamaha 350 on a 25 foot sand dune at Mescalero Sands Recreation Area He was found about 30 feet from the wreckage after the vehicle nose first struck and became airbound EMS arrived an hour later and airlifted him from the remote site where officers had to travel miles by four wheelers to reach him.
