Litchfield New Hampshire hoped to raise 30000 for an office complex by redeeming bottles in Massachusetts. The practice violated Massachusetts law which fines not purchased there. About 2000 containers were redeemed, risk a potential fine near 200000 if pursued.
The Chaves County Commission awarded Architecture Plus Ltd. the design and oversight of a 4000 square foot psychosocial rehabilitation center for Counseling Associates Inc. at 1010 S Garden Ave. The project is funded by a 250000 Community Development Block Grant plus 40000 in matching funds from Counseling Associates. Architecture Plus scored 333 of 380, narrowly beating Wilcox Architecture of Roswell which scored 322.
