Rev B F Parsons presides at Rossburn church with school at 11 00 am and divine service at 7 30 pm. In Keeloe Fata Cee barik church school at 2 30 pm with divine service at 3 5 pm and another divine service at 11 00 pm.
The Pentecostal Assembly invites all to Sunday School at 10 50 a m Divine Worship at 11 30 a m Evangelistic Service at 7 3 p m Children's Church Friday at 3 p m A cordial invitation extended to all.
In a frank address Premier J. Walter Jones discusses enforcement problems of the Prohibition Act. He notes only a small portion of liquor is legally manufactured, cites bootleggers avoiding taxes, and argues that education and parental example are the real solutions.

Word reached cable on Thursday Sept 21 that Mrs M Kotyk of Oakboro announced her husband Sgt Michael Kotyk had become Officer PO Kotyk. He is an air gunner with the Lion Squadron and joined the RAF in July 1942. He trained at Brandon Winnipeg Mont Joli and Bellville University. He went overseas October 1943 and has damaged two enemy aircraft. He bailed out in Normandy and his plane was damaged over Stuttgart, earning a place in the Caterpillar Club. He held a private pilot license from Stevenson's Airfield and married Miss Marie Yanick of Oakburn who teaches at Menzie, Man.
