Rossburn Wins Good News Award For Economic Development
Rossburn earns the 1994 Royal Bank EDAC ACDE Good News Award in the Positive Program for Small Communities category for a Toronto Sun advert promoting the town. Kathy Swann of the Rossburn Economic Development Office accepted the Fredericton prize with Mayor Shirley Kalyniuk. Grandview received an Honourable Mention.

The Rossburn Chamber of Commerce opened its 1994 95 year with 12 members. Treasurer changes include Dean Stewart replacing Garry Sabeski. The group discussed Midnight Madness on Oct 28 and a Nov 4 5 Trade Show at the Rossburn Community Hall coordinated by Vic Rutledge Nathan Naherniak and Tony Doan.
