New Sidewalk Progress Under Vernon Hamilton Oversight

Fishing Lake Stocked Well, Survey Finds Healthy Stock

A limnological survey of Fishing Lake by Manitoba Fisheries Branch biologist Lief Sunde and Holly Burrell reports a good lake for fishing. Nets captured 187 suckers 156 perch 56 pickerel and 1 jackfish with weights ranging to over ten pounds. The lake is 22 feet deep in the south and 21 feet in the north with strong oxygen and abundant primary food.

About forty five ladies met at the Halewski home in Winnipeg on September 17 to honor Miss Margaret Cameron a bride-elect of October 19.
