Community members hear plans to start an emergency blood donor system in Rossburn with short notice calls. Interested residents should contact Dr J Layng for preliminary investigations and those with donor cards urged to present them. Local friends bid farewell to Constable Bob Bailey at Frank Melnyk home as he transfers to Churchill detachment.

Mr and Mrs Geo Armstrong Estevan visited George Armstrongs parents in Estevan. Couples travel far including 5000 miles to the southern United States. Many locals host relatives from Clear Lake Roblin Neepawa Moose Jaw and Winnipeg with visits to Brandon Minnedosa and Winnipeg for studies and events. Sympathy offered to the Collins family. Notice under the Municipal Act states By Law No. 321 of Rossburn will authorize the council to construct a Fire Hall and Rest Room added to the Village Hall. Debentures of 10000 dollars at 5 percent interest repayable in ten years plus surplus cash cover remaining costs. Vote to take place October 24 1958 at the Municipal Office. The mayor will oversee appointment of observers October 21 1958. Secretary Treasurer will tally votes October 24 1958 at 6 pm. Original by law on file for examination during office hours.

A Ukrainian Women’s Association bingo event at the Ukrainian National Home Rossburn on September 2, 1958 offers a wool comforter as the blackout prize with 20 games.
