Golf Club Renovations Modernize Rossman Lake Facility
The Rossman Lake Golf and Country Club Inc updated the clubhouse with a larger porch wheelchair accessible washrooms a service room and pro shop display new windows and roof work. Future plans include kitchen enlargement and liquor licensing funded by a 12000 Manitoba Community Services Council grant. The old Chmelnyski School 1494 now houses the club operating May to September and offering meals and fast foods. The club added cart rentals and secured a three year lease for more carts while upgrading irrigation and hosting events like the Rossman Lake Open Seniors Midnight Golf and Two Ball Foursome drawing growing participation.

Hunters find marijuana plants near Riding Mountain National Park
An off duty RCMP officer and a hunting companion stumbled on a marijuana cultivation north of Rossburn on Wednesday September 17. Literacy funding hike targets Manitoban adults
