Rossburn Opens New Ten-Bed Hospital For Community Use
The Rossburn new hospital opens for service Friday September 15 with a ten bed unit a four basin nursery and space for more beds in emergencies. Mrs. Jack Miller and Mrs. Gordon Taylor are among the first patients. Staff includes matron Mrs. Viola Peden R N and nurse Mrs. E Schraefl. Miss Ethel Smith joins October 1. Merchants donated groceries to stock shelves as donations continue.

Hospital Aid Teas Raise Funds for Local Hospital

Don Ertman a 16 year old from Fairfax California received a corneal transplant after donor eyes from Eleanor Cook were allocated through the hospital eye bank at Stanford.
