Saley Family Residing In Birdtail District
Mr and Mrs Alex J Saley and family, recently arriving from Stoney Creek Ontario, have taken up residence in the district after purchasing property. Miss Anne Sehaworski admitted to St Josephs Hospital Winnipeg awaiting an operation. Mrs Alex Saley and Miss Frances Schaworski drove north last week and picked cranberries, noting the difference with Niagara fruit.

Rossbarn Rural Municipality Council Minutes

Maintenance payments to Mrs. K Ewanchuk were reduced to 33.00 per month. The meeting adjourned to Oct 4.

Funeral held for Mrs. Woshka Dereza in district
Mrs. Woshka Dereza died Saturday at age 96. Funeral service was held Tuesday with Rev Shwed of Oakburn officiating. She is survived by three daughters including Mrs. John Mushmenski of Russell. Also noted are neighbors and relatives from Glen Elmo and Sour areas attending.
