Canadian graves to be tended in liberated Holland
Herman Balkstein of Rotterdam reports three Canadian cemeteries will be created in Holland at Bergen op Zoom Groningen and Nijmegen to honor fallen Canadian soldiers. Bodies of those killed in Germany will be repatriated to Holland where Dutch women will care for the graves as if they were their own husbands and sons. Balkstein calls for universal prayers for Canadians and Dutch alike and hopes war will never occur again.
