Heavy agenda at Rural Municipality meeting in Rossburn

The Rural Municipality of Rossburn held a regular meeting on September 8 1980 at 10 00 A M in the Council Chambers. Motions carried unanimous include accepting August 1980 financial statements and ward allocations, approving cash disbursements, amending By-law 1081 re land subject to right of way, reading By-laws 1081 and 1084 first and second times, suspending Municipal Act 183 2 requirements for By-law 1084, and third reading of 1084. A tax roll additions resolution directs the clerk to value improved land and buildings and adjust assessments.

Roof and staffing decisions from Pelly Trail Division meeting

Trustees met September 4 with Rick chairing and staff Doug MacIsaac Murray Bradshaw and Gordon Ament present. Ament reported on Rossburn Collegiate and Major Pratt roofs from Oakwood Roofing. Other actions included hiring two staff Myrtle Gawiuk and Joan Madrigga, bus routing for a Pushka child, and several resolutions on funding church use property tax rolls and election staffing. The meeting adjourned with plans for next session.
