Rossburn Fire Chief flags service limits to First Nation
Fire Chief Larry Sidoryk told Rossburn council the department cannot serve Waywayseecappo First Nation as a first responder due to lack of equipment and manpower. 4 H begins again by Kevin Cottingham Rossburn 4 H Handiworkers
The Rossburn 4 H Handiworkers held their first meeting of the year on September 10 with Sarah Luhowy as president. Dean Mackedenski read the secretary’s report and Tia Mitchell read the treasurer’s report. Registration is 15 dollars per member due by December. Forty six members attended, five absent. Members chose projects and planned fundraising selling peanuts and lollipops for the Kidney Foundation at 3 dollars per bag. An October pot luck on the 1st at 6 30 p.m. and an executive workshop on the 30th were scheduled. Kevin Cottingham serves as club reporter.
