Stall may have caused plane crash near Onanole

An uncertified source suggests a high speed stall led to the Luscombe aircraft crash that killed Strathclair farmers Russell Verne Glenn and Donald Fredrick McDonald. RCMP describe stalls as removing lift during steep turns, causing a nose dive. The missing bull search team from Glenn prompted the flight. wreckage was found by CF SAR near Onanole after 8 p.m.

Lizard Point Resident Killed After Bus Collision

A 22 year old local man Johnny Norbert Myron of Lizard Point Indian Reserve was fatally struck by a Webb Bus Lines bus while bicycling along highway 45, ten kilometres west of Rossburn at 3:35 PM on Monday September 2. Investigators with the Rossburn RCMP Detachment are reviewing the crash.
