RCI Enrollment Similar To Last Year
The RCI started fall with 163 students, slightly below last September but above June 1975. Staff include Miss Kolek, J Samuels, Mr Bird math and arts, and teachers in language arts, social studies, geography, science, Ukrainian, French, accounting, typing, and PE. The July 26 Rossburn Mid West League 10 and unders tournament drew 10 teams from 18. Rivers defeated Shoal Lake. Rossburn lost both their games. Gratitude extended to umpires scorekeepers and the Harvest Festival Lunch crew plus three groundkeepers Donald Bergerman Robbie Gilker and Tommy Lynch.

Rossburn Elementary shows little change in enrollment from last year with 36 students currently in kindergarten and expected increases as new families move in. Pair Found After Night On Prosperous Lake
Lynn Fowler and his five year old daughter Candy were stranded on Prosperous Lake after the boat motor failed near Cameron River. They built a fire and survived the night before RCMP found them Monday morning and airlifted them to Yellowknife.
