Mary Jane Mitchell died Saturday August 90 1847 at Rossburn Manitoba. Beloved wife of William Mitchell she was born Mary Jane Rafter in Ireland May 4 1868 and married to Mr. Mitchell January 6 1900 before moving to Canada. Survived by her husband two sons Bert and William and two daughters Mrs Chegwin and Daisy at home. Funeral from United Church with officiants Mr Garrett and Mr Nixon. Pallbearers Alfred Mitchell Fekland Mitchell Jim Harlow Jim Sherrit Bob Carson Lorne Lawless.

Mrs. Margaret Brown age 92 widow of Alexander Brown died Monday at Rossburn hospital after coming from Ireland 69 years ago. Survived by five children Robert James William Brown and Mrs A Joiner Rossburn and Mr J W L MacIntosh Winnipeg one sister Mrs J J Stitt Rossburn 40 grandchildren 42 great grandchildren pallbearers were six grandsons Wilfred Sam Carman Harold Morley Brown and Rowatt Veitch.

A wedding at The First Church United Fort William Ont on Saturday August 23 joined Helen Gluta daughter of Mr and Mrs Steve Gluta to Ted Krisko youngest son of Mr and Mrs Mike Krisko Angusville Man. The service conducted by Rev J S McKenzie featured a ivory satin gown, floral crown, and a bouquet of red roses. After the ceremony a reception for 250 guests followed at the Ukrainian hall with summer flower decor and a four tier cake. Out-of-town guests included L Shechuk Toronto and M Derkach Angusville. The couple spent a week honeymoon in Angusville and will reside in Fort William.
