Rossburn Community Centre Construction to Start in September
The Building Committee reports that construction of the Rossburn Community Centre will begin in early September. Donations are welcome at the Village Office with a bi weekly progress total to be published. Estimated total cost is about 110000 dollars. Donors include Mrs. Ann Marceau 60 dollars Don and Dot Bicknell 100 dollars and Leonard and Ollie Mackedenski 50 dollars.

Grant approved for Rossburn Curling Rink repairs
Fitness Recreation and Sport Minister Bob Banman announced a 3100 grant to the Village of Rossburn through Sport Facilities 80 for re shingling the curl ing arena roof. Grants under this 50 50 program range 10000 to 25000 depending on population with 50 percent project completion required. The minister said the grant helps communities cut costs, extend use and boost revenues.
